Grease

Grease is a 1971 musical by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey.
The musical is named for the 1950s United States working-class youth subculture known as greasers. The musical, set in 1959 at fictional Rydell High School (based on Chicago, Illinois (William Howard Taft School), follows ten working-class teenagers as they navigate the complexities of love.
The score attempts to recreate the sounds of early 1950's rock and roll. In its record-breaking original Broadway production, Grease was a raunchy, raw, aggressive, vulgar show. Subsequent productions sanitized it and tamed it down.
The show tackles such social issues as teenage pregnancy and gang violence; its themes include love, friendship, teenage rebellion, sexual exploration during adolescence, and, to some extent, class consciousness/class conflict. (Taken from Wikipedia)

I watched Grease last week as a requirement for my English class since we had to decide for our play proposal and I thoroughly enjoyed this classic movie.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there! Young or old, dead or alive, I wish you a pleasant day today. For those with ill fathers, I wish you all happiness and joy today.

Father's Day is a special day that should not only be marked important once a year but rather we must learn to celebrate it every day. It's not too late to greet your dads! Go grab him and tell him you love him. Life's too short to waste it on petty things especially if you're in a feud with your father, go apologize and you'll feel ten times lighter! :)

I spent the morning being angry at my dad for insulting and teasing me but after a while, I realized that he'll always be there for me and its useless crying over spilled milk.

I got my dad a mug for Father's Day. Its nothing special but I appreciate the fact that he said, "I'll bring this to my meeting tomorrow." Its touching that he  found joy in such a simple gift. :)
