Hush, Hush

Posted by Unknown at Friday, August 17, 2012 0 comments
When Nora and Patch are forced together as lab partners, Nora would rather fall to her death than put up with his elusive answers to her questions, his teasing, and his infuriating handsome face and hypnotizing eyes. It seems Patch was put on earth just to drive her crazy.

But before long, Nora's defenses start to break down as her curiosity about Patch heats up. Why does he always seem to be wherever she is and know exactly what she's thinking! How does he know what to say to both attract and repulse her? And what is up with those v-shaped scars on his chiseled back?

As their connection grows stronger, Nora's own life becomes increasingly fragile. Nora needs to decide: Is Patch the one who wants to do her harm or the one who will keep her safe? Has she fallen for one of the fallen?

So I bought this book during the summer and I only read it recently around a week ago and I'm not really into "Human-Angel or Fallen angel" stories but this book was really good. I tweeted about reading this book on twitter and then one of my friends spoiled the story for me so now I know what happens on the third book and I swear I never expected it to happen. It has a major major major majooorrrr twist! Read all the books to find out ;) FYI I was so pissed when my friend spoilt the book for me. *sighs* THANKS ALOT FRIEND WHO CANNOT BE NAMED!!! -___-

Project 17

We each went to Danvers State Hospital, the old abandoned asylum on the hill, with the intention of spending one night before the place got torn down.

Little did any of us know how haunting the experience would be.

Little did I know the experience would change my life.

Forever.

- Derik LaPointe, filmmaker, Project 17

So I just Borrowed this book from the library last Tuesday and I finished it in one day. I'm the type of girl who judges a book by it's cover but my friend said it was a good book so I read it and it really was a good book. It's a mystery/paranormal book. The story plot was amazing and really unique. The author, Laurie Faria Stolarz is an amazing author, she wrote other books like "Blue is for Nightmare".

Project 17 is about a guy, Derik the so called "bad-boy" who wanted to make a real-life documentary so that he can get an internship because his grades are low and to stop working in his family's diner. The other main characters are Liza, his love interest in the end. Chet, the joker. Mimi, the gothic punk. Tony, the soon-to-be director and Greta the aspiring actress. With all of them in the documentary it adds more twists and different personalities combined makes everything more real. Just what he needs to film a great documentary but what they didn't realize is that there's a mystery in the asylum that needs to be solved.

My girl

On our second day of immersion, it was our day of prayer so we watched a movie "My Girl". It was a great movie. It was inspiring yet it had a sad ending. It made me more aware and thankful for my friends and family and that we should live life to the fullest and by not regretting anything. :")
